RECENT WORK

Establishing an art practice to me means remaining curious and experimenting with approaches, some of which I learned from Peleg Top when I enrolled in his 100 Days Creative High Growth program in January 2025. Permitting myself to continue to be led by intuition, in July 2025 I started to sketch from life in a small spiral bound pad with a #2 pencil, a tool I haven't used in several decades. I also chose to make more collages without preplanning the compositions or overthinking what ideas I wanted to convey. In October, I got a studio space at The Bower in downtown Beverly MA that is a hub for creative arts businesses, theaters, and galleries run by Montserrat College of Art. At The Bower, I am working mostly with acrylic paints. I play as if I were a child and freely apply colors and strokes as I wish in a fun state of mind. It is these experiences where I truly meet myself wherever I am at with grace and an open mind.
